About me: Hi there! My name is Carolina and I am a lawyer, but my passion is food, both cooking and eating. Food moves me. So the purpose of this blog is basically to tell you all about what I cook, and occasionally about what I eat, where, when and with whom. Just to share sincerely my experiences in the kitchen and the table with high hopes that only a few people that read this blogg will actually know me. Let me say before starting that I not an expert nor a Chef. I just cook for the joy of cooking. I have trouble cutting to perfection and I cook slowly and inefficiently. But my dishes taste awesome. Also, I am not an English speaker, so please excuse my lousy English. It would have been nice to start this blog while I lived in NY because my friends told me I was a living Zagat guide. I now live in Lima, Peru. Lima offers high quality food and -best for cooks- amazingly fresh produce and seafood. However, I miss lots of stuff that are not easy to find here and that I ate weekly in New York such as big Sunday brunchs, thai food, arepas, bagels, whole wheat walnut raisin rolls, chao tom, etc. Some of this has led me to try to imitate these flavors in my kitchen.
